Happy New Year Carlton & Alumni Family,

Group of 15 for VVIP. For the $1000 package I have you would get access to the VVIP which is selling for $2,500-this includes • 1st & 2nd Levels • Penthouse access • Group Name in program journal • Party • Bar • Dancing.

If we have more than 15 people we can accommodate but I wanted to get a commitment from 15 first. Everything has to be paid at once so I will be doing all payments via Pay Pal with receipt confirmation to ensure everything stays legit.

Also if we book by next Wed Jan 7th I can arrange for limo transport from a central location in downtown DC (i.e. Renaissance Hotel- public parking across the street, Metro Center someplace everyone knows) as a bonus! Trust me I learned from CBC weekend cabs are scarce as is parking near the Newseum. Plus who wants to drive on a fabulous night like this? But I need to have names and payments CONFIRMED by 5pm Wed Jan 7th at the latest to ensure everything is booked.

This is not a public offer so that’s why I posted on the alumni website to see if people were seriously interested. If the VVIP is not a good look right now PLEASE at least get the $150 General Admission tix and represent for your HCBU! (SUPER SHOT OUT TO BE!!!) If you know some more people who would like to participate in the VVIP group package let me know by COB Monday Jan 5th (I originally said this Friday Jan 2nd but want to account for Holiday Cheer!) and we can get it going.

We definitely don’t want to wait until the last minute on this one! Its actually one of the most “Official” parties for the Inaugural and the deal is way too good to pass up. I know a lot of folks where this is their one event and we all plan to have the best time ever. As a Native Washingtonian I know that this Inauguration will be beyond Historic Proportion and want us all to be a part of it as people of Color. If you have anymore questions you can email me at dr_isis@yahoo.com, send me a text or leave me a voicemail at 240-606-2637. God bless.

    Greetings,
$1000 per person for 15 people= $15000. Its going for $2500 on the website, for 15 people $37500, but with the private group discount I negrotiated (yep negro-tiated!) you get the VVIP for $1000. Plus Im doing the limo service as an HBCU bonus. Just wants us to rides in style boss!! 🙂 Let them know the true definition of swagger.
So if anyone is interested send me an email and I can get you the Pay Pal link.

Hello, this is an event that we are promoting, so we don’t set the rules or pricing. The general market price is $500 for general admission.

We have negotiated the following for our membership:

The first 200 tix using our coupon discounted to $150
From there lots of 100 tix are available at $250, $350, and $450, totaling 500 discount tickets available to our network.

    January 6, 2009

I bought my tickets yesterday and went back to get one more for my friend today. The price went up to $250 per ticket with the discount code. What happened???

  • Maria

    January 6, 2009

From my understanding that I have with the organizers the VIP and VVIP guestists will close this weekend (i.e. sooner than you think 🙂 so it would be best for folks to get any tickets ASAP.

I think Be explained in a previous email that the $150 tickets were limited to 200 then the prices went up accordingly as they got sold out. ($250, $350, $450 at 100 tickets available each.) So maybe the 200 tickets at $150 are all sold out and they went to the next price level.

As time goes on for all of the events Ive seen in town the price will get higher as it approaches the event date, if they do not sell out before then which many events in town already have.

I still have a few slots open for the VVIP for $1000 so let if anyone else is still interested let me know and I will forward you the link for payment. I will have everything confirmed by this week for this event. Any other questions see my post above and/or email me at dr_isis@yahoo.com or call/text me at 240-606-2637 btw 10am and 10pm please and thank you.

    Peace,
    M
