Episode 2 of our Amazing Journey to New Orleans take us through Lil Dizzy’s restaurant to talk food with one of the city’s well known entrepreneurs. Also discover the heritage of the city by exploring its cultural makeup with Professor Shantrelle P Lewis.

Introducing Russy and Tito to Los Angeles was an entertaining prospect. On the agenda for the week was hiking, yoga, sight seeing, clean food, and meeting Alumni from our networks. Note that these guys have never done any hiking, never done yoga, and never been to the west coast so EVERY experience is new.

On the East Coast, being fit is becoming the latest trend. (Thanks to the uncanny power of the internet) The average consumer is now more aware of the effects fast careless living. Well… day 1 on the West Coast has taught me that they (L.A. in particular) are way ahead of us. There is a beautiful balance here. For every In and Out Burger or Carl Jr. there is a local café that serves fresh healthful food.

Last year this time the Alumni Roundup events in Atlanta brought out hundreds of folks to spend quality time together and also to celebrate Roundup Russy’s Birthday.

This year, having never been to the West Coast, Russy and Tito proposed that we take the show on the road to Los Angeles.
